Great article on the politics and ethics of dog meat consumption here. In Vietnam, people eat dog and if I were a carnivore, I'd definitely give it a try.
Nice blog. Vietnam is certainly a wild, wonderful and sometimes wacky place. You might like to watch a documentary or two about dog farming in Asia first before eating those pooches... it's not for the faint hearted and changed my mind for good. I look forward to reading your updates.
I've eaten dog — not in Vietnam, but when I was working and living in Korea. It's pretty tasty. I had it in both a soup and dipped in a tasty red sauce. I'm flirting with vegetarianism nw — but when I was in Vietnam, I did dine on snake. Delicious, too. And neither tasted like chicken!
